Our pricing philosophy is simple: we want to make money only when you're making money
Free Plan
For low-traffic free APIs, you get all the power of WebServius for free.
Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to experiment with offering new APIs. Most successful APIs have at least some free component, and we want to encourage you to roll out a free version of your API first (protected by quotas that are enforced by WebServius) to attract developers. Thus, we are making the WebServius product absolutely free for low-traffic free APIs. We will not charge you for any month during which you stay under the following limits every day of the month:
- Up to 50 API subscribers
- Up to 10,000 total API calls per day
- Up to 5 calls per second at peak times
Pricing for Free APIs
For high-traffic free APIs, you pay based on the number of calls.
If you go over any of the limits of the Free Plan, we will charge you $1 for every 30,000 API calls we process. For example, if your API users are making a total of 100,000 calls per day (i.e. 3,000,000 calls per month), your monthly fee will be $100.
Revenue share for Paid APIs
For pay-per-use APIs, we charge 10% of your total API revenue
For paid APIs (regardless of whether it's a monthly fee or pay-per-call), we keep 10% of what we collect from your API subscribers, and forward the rest to you. For example, if you set the price to be $0.01 per call and your API subscribers make 10,000 calls, we will keep $10 and you will get a check from us for $90.
Keep in mind that we take care of all payment processing fees such as the ones charged by PayPal - you will never be charged any extra amounts over the 10% revenue share.
The fine print
The terms on this page are subject to change and are governed by the WebServius Provider Agreement. Paid APIs with low effective per-call prices (as determined by WebServius) may be treated as free APIs for the purpose of pricing. If your peak usage consistently exceeds 10 calls/second, higher pricing may apply - contact us for details.
