There are two ways in which subscriptions are created:
- Provider-created: You can create subscriptions manually for your subscribers. For example, you know that “jane@example.com” wanted to try out your API, and so you can create a free subscription for her so that she can try out your service.
- Subscriber-created: Your subscribers can create subscriptions by themselves, by going to the subscription link (given to you on the Services page) and choosing any one of the active Packages that you created.
Naturally, you cannot force someone to pay you. Thus, you are not allowed to create paid subscriptions in the “Provider-created” way. Paid subscriptions have to be initiated by your subscribers.
If you have reached a unique paid subscription agreement with a particular subscriber that you don’t want to make available to the general public, contact support@webservius.com and we will help you establish this arrangement. In the future, we may offer a feature that will automate this process.
